Just ranting really!

Have been TTC for a few months with no luck. Had 2 odd periods in Jan and Feb when i was a week late and then on very lightly. Tested but BFN. All back to normal March and April. Am now on CD 34 with nothing but some brown spotting (on Thurs) and then today along with some dark red when wiping.

I haven't tested yet, because in Jan when i was a week late, i tested like a woman possessed. I promised myself after that i would POAS until i was at least a week late (but god its hard!).

Am hoping for the best but expecting the worst (it has been a really shit 18 months) - as i have been since Tuesday!

Any words of wisdom lovely people!

I think there is a stage a few months in where you get very fed up - when they excitement of thinking you will be pg immediately wears off slightly, and you get into a kind of routine of getting disappointed. But it is quite normal for it to take a while. It took us 8 months the first time and 18 months the second.

And one of the joys of TTC IME is that your periods just love to play tricks on you - probably because of the stress and your ramped-up expectations, they are often late or go a bit peculiar and it turns out to be nothing. So annoying! But I found you can get past this frustrated stage and calm down a bit and just keep trying. And good luck for this time!

Thanks Marine!

Frustrating is so the word!! I wasn't expecting it to happen right away, but as you say, AF does like to mess with our minds (And other bits!!)
