I know this sounds totallty random but thought Id start a thread for all of us that are addicted to POAS (you know who you are lol) just to offer support, and advice to stop us all feeling like loonies. So here goes:

Hi my name is LankyLegs and I have been addicted to peeing on sticks for 6 months now.... with no sign of it letting up...actually the addiction is getting worse and starting to take over daily life... I even have a pee pot to dip internet cheepies into....i really need help

I have 30 i got the cheapo ones of ebay, i can test 5 times a day of i want .. really doesnt help my addiction!!!

xkaty cheapie internet ones... they are like the worse of the worse in terms of addiction (she says whilst comparing to lowest form of drug addiction glue sniffing!)

Typical morning 10dpo in oiseau house:
7am: Not going to poas till 14dop am strong sensible woman
7.02am: what harm would it do if I did? it its -ve there is still chance if +ve will be brill
7.03: No - am strong sensible woman
7.05: But really what harm would it do if I did?
7.06: Rummage around back of sock draw where they have been hidden so I will "forget about them"
7.07: No - am strong sensible woman
7.08: POAS
7.09: guilt and shame, am not strong sensible woman at all, am addict

Hmmmm

Anyone getting just as addicted to peeing on ovulation sticks? For some reason my handbag has a range of such sticks floating around in it so as to feed my addiction whilst at work. Terribly embarrassing when you are trying to find rail pass or other such item and out pops stick

It has been 19 days since I last POAS.
I started POAS 8 years ago, at first I thought it was harmless as so many others do it without a problem, But then last year I realised I was POAS twice a day, It took time to admit that I have a problem and that I needed help. I am so pleased to have the support of POAS-anonymous!

Luckily I still have some resemblance of self control, I only POAS once yesterday and once today - admittedly yesterday I was only 4dpo and am 5dpo today. So what? It's not like I have a problem or anything......

Have very embarassing story to share with feloow poas-ers.

We moved offices last week. Needing a wee (am currently into the 2ww), I sat on the loo and immediately started assessing wc for poas-friendliness. I thought, hmm, plenty of room on windowsill to lay out test whilst I obsess wash my hands, and then perch and check hpt. Also is under natural light, which is good.

Maybe we could bring out a POAS-friendly loo sticker?

I hide my sticks in little cubbyholes, either in my secret handbag pocket or in my cloth nappy stash, where I know my OH won't look - if he knew how many sticks I pee on, I think he'd go mental..
btw, are there any cheapie ov sticks floating around the internet? I can't afford constantly peeing on the expensive clearblue ones.

I have been on the internet and get 30 ovulation sticks for 5.99 and free deivery, i was a bit weary of ususing them and used the exspensive ones along side them and they gave exactly the same result, so this month i only used them!!!

They also do 30 pregnancys strips for 5.99 free delivery.

Omg and also i found on ebay cheap forst response tests and digital all the real thing etc just a little cheaper, they are so exspensive when you have an addiction lol

Despite swearing on a stack of bibles that I would not POAS this month until AF was late lo and behold I've gone and done it today on day CD26/31. A BFN of course and am now sad. :-(

I seem to be unable to walk past the Boots by my work without going in and today First Response were buy one get one free.....
