AF or Mid-cycle bleeding every 14 days

Hi

I came off the pill in Jan and started the long wait for AF to return.

It didn't take as long as I thought and I've had 2 AF nicely bang on 28 days apart.

That was the good bit.

But I've had bleeding over days 15/16 for the last two cycles and I'm worried/confused.

Last month the mid-cycle bleeding was heavier than spotting, but still very light. This month it was heavier, but still light-ish and only lasted 2 days. I don't know now if I'm CD18 or CD4?!

Anyone have any experience of this? I'm an old goat of 37 which makes me more worried.

Any mid cycle bleeding like this should be reported to your GP to establish the underlying cause.

I came off the pill two months ago after 16 years, and have been charting (out of interest really, I love the graphs). So far so good, with ovulation and fluids and stuff, apart from I am spotting/heavier-than-spotting two days out of three from the end of my period up to ovulation, so the opposite of your problem, I guess!

Anyway, my point is even though its early days in the resuming of normal hormonal business after the pill, I have booked an appointment with the doc. I'd much rather know if there is a problem than not know.
