i am sure i must be pregnant but conception would have only been about 5 days ago. is this too early to show up on a test today at family planning clinic?

i want to know now!!!!!!!!!

this would be pregnancy 2 after DS born 2007.

Yes, much too early, sorry.
You need to wait another 9 days to be sure of an accurate result (assuming you know when you conceived).
You might get an accurate result in 7 days IF you are 100% positive about when conception took place (nb could have been 24 hours after ovulation and could be 5 days after the sex in question) and if your hormone levels are high enough by then.

Way too early. YOud have very little, if any, hormone to detect. Wait another week at the VERY least.

Lulumaam · 26/04/2010 19:36

why are you sure??

you need to wait until 2 weeks or so after unprotected sex for a reliable result

even early tests are for a few days before your period and then are not even 50% accurate iirc

the embryo might not have even impanted yet

its this feeling my body has, exactly the same as when DS was concieved.

thanks everyone good to know its still to early. i shall wait another week or so.

its just soooooooooo exciting but will have to be patient.
