I am TTC DC2 and, after 5 months of trying with no success, bought some OPKs and have used those for the past 2 cycles. My question is, do you count from the day of ovulation itself to calculate the luteal phase or the day after? i.e., if I ovulated on Monday 5 April and my period arrived yesterday (15 April) does that count as a 10 day luteal phase or an 11 day luteal phase? Just not sure how all this counting days lark works since DD1 (17 months) was a complete accident! And is a 10 or 11 day luteal phase a problem or not? All help gratefully received...!

yep it's from the day you start ovulating till the day BEFORE you come on.

a luheal phase is usualy seen as good if its between 10-16 ;0)
