Help! Bleeding during ovulation time

Hi all,

Bit new to the whole 'getting pregnant' game and need some help. Just came off the pill 2 months ago and have had bleeding after sex around the time of ovulation. Any hits about whats going on?? Thanks

If it was a few days after sex and it was around ovulation time, it could be implantation bleeding when the fertilised egg attaches to the womb.

You shouldn't worry too much but do go and see your GP. I had bleeding after sex and it turned out to be quite a common symptom of a cervical erosion.
No huge drama or need to fret unduly - they may refer you the colposcopy clinic at your local hospital so they can take a look. No worse than a smear - in my case they inserted a fibre optic so they could see inside and I got to watch it on the telly!
