A temp and ovulation question

Can I ask a quick and probably daft question. Can you still get pregnant on the day of your temp shift? I know it signifies ovulation but does that mean its too late? Am abit confused as haven't temp charted before.

Yes, it is possible. A temperature shift means you have already ovulated. Sometimes it takes a day or two for temps to rise after ovulation, sometimes a little earlier. But as long as the egg is still viable, it's possible.

Some people recommend SWI'ing on the day of the temp rise for this reason.

Thanks Yalla. So for my next stupid question, what's SWI'ing?!

Shagging With Intent.

Formerly and less interestingly known as trying to conceive (ttc) or baby dancing (bd) .

Aah, that is definitely a new one on me but I like it.
