TTC after Cerazette - when will ovulation start?

Hi

Just wondered if anyone has come off Cerazette recently and if so, when did you start ovulating again? Came off 4 weeks ago but no sign of period yet. We were going to wait until my periods before TTC but decided to just go ahead so haven't been using any contraception...

When I came off Cerazette it took 3 months before my period came back. Good news is I became pregnant after first period. I read that it can take up to a year for periods to get back to normal, but assume this is unusual, good luck with the TTC.

Hi, mine came back after 5 weeks. I took Agnus Cactus too just in case. It's supposed to help regulate cycles. My second AF post-pill arrived 28 days after the last! Phew.

Thanks for letting me know about agnus castus aswell, just looked it up and it sounds like a good idea. A trip to Holland & Barrett tomorrow I think...!!

I was 6 weeks before af cam back still trying and now on my 5th cycle.

About 5 weeks for me 2. Although its been 2 weeks since af and for past 4 days had period type pains so not sure if af going to appear early or if thats my cycle sorted?

Heard lots of storys about this pill messing cycles up and struggling to concieve. Hope this is not the case though.

Hi I came off it in Nov and I'm still all over the place really. I'm having periods but mini periods in between too. It took until feb to have any period at all. When I talked to the sister about it she said it can take up to 6 months to regulate. Hopefully you'll get sorted out much quicker

I came off on Feb 28th this year and had a 3 day bleed 2 days later, then 10 days of mad temperature charts followed by a 6 day bleed. This cycle has been 29 days with a clear temp spike on day 19 suggesting ovulation happened, and now I'm bleeding again.

Take heart from all these stories, your period will probably arrive soon!

Not sure if it makes any difference, but I also had periods all the time on this pill, completely irregularly - sometimes with 3 days between them, usually more like 2-3 weeks. Some people don't bleed at all, the lucky sods. They must save a fortune on sanitary protection!
