pre conception vitamins

Hi,

I know this is terrible symptom spotting but AF was due yesterday (not too excited as periods are not regular) I have had a few cramps and some nausea but nothing really major the only thing I do have is a terrible metalic taste in my mouth which I know is a sign,

however

I spoke to my mum and she wondered if it is the mum to be tablets I am taking (like pregnacare conception)

Has anyone else had this from pre conception tablets?

I do keep prodding my boobs, the are def not sore but still I keep trying!

I have been taking mum to be vitamins for a few weeks now and I haven't noticed a metallic taste. Good Luck!

I've never had this or heard of it with vitamins.I've only experienced it in pregnancy! Goodluck!

I am sure I am not as I don't really have any other symptoms apart from the odd small (maybe even imagined) wave of nausea.

I will give it until the middle of the week and if there is still no AF I will test then. Untill then I will keep prodding my boobs!

I have been taking Pregnacare Conception vits for 3 months and have never found it has given me that metallic taste.

However it has:

• lengthened my menstrual cycle by about 10 days so my UCL is about 40 days now
• given me BRIGHT yellow urine
• given me a daily reminder of what I want to happen with my body and thus helped me to abstain from too much unhealthiness.

the metallic taste could well be a sign.... good luck!!!

nope, maybe your mum got it the wrong way round? maybe she thought iron in tablets give u that and really its low in iron .. but pregnancy is the main cause :-) ive never had that from the vitamins
