Confused about sharp pains

Hi All,

I am new to this forum so please be gentle.

Here is my story - My husband and I have been TTC for 8 months - I was on the pill for 10 years b4. After 4 months off the pill AF was a steady 33 days. After 5 months I bought an ovulation monitor to see when I was ovulating. I ovulate on CD20 - this month I ovulated on CD20 - On CD30 I bled for 2 days (normal AF is at least 4) and since then I have been getting what I can only explain as sharp period pains, they have been going on for a week now but I stopped bleeding 5 days ago. I did a test 2 days ago but that came up negative. I think i may have tested early, but I am confused if the bleeding and going pain that I had/have was implementation or something else..

Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?

Hi, I didn't want you to go unanswered! It sounds like you're about 15 days post ov? I would think that would be long enough for a positive result to show up on a pg test to be honest but if I were you I'd give it till Saturday then test again. Some people take longer to have a BFP than others.

I hope you get the result you're hoping for - come and join the december or january bus if you'd like some company xx
