implantation pain?

Right where shall I start. AF due by tomorrow (7th April). For the past 6 days I have been having mild-moderate cramps that feel like AF is about to start. Each time I have went to loo, but nothing, no period arrived. Although we are not actively TTC at the moment we have had unprotected sex with him using the pullout method.
Usually my AF's are v predicable with cramps signalling the start of it so I'm left wondering now what my body is playiing at. These cramps are not constant, maybe 30mins or so and then they disappear and I feel okay, but its happened each day since Thursday.

Has anyone had experience of this and could this be implantation pain? I have decided that if AF doesnt appear by Friday I will take a test. I'm not sure if I should make appt with GP, DP seems to think I should.

I've also been talking to DP about this and we have decided that timing is good for us to TTC #2, both of us would be happy if I was preg so we guess now is as good as ever. If I'm not already preg we're going to chart for a few months and then give it a go, hopefully for a spring 2011 baba.

Hi fairy can't really help but I have had exactly the same thing in that about 8 days after I think I ovulated I had the worst pains - AF type and also ovulation type pains with pulling/stabbing on both sides as to where I think my ovaries are (Get ov pains every month and was in same place but both sides) I'm desperate for a bfp as we've been TTC #2 for last 2 months so hoping it's third time lucky - will be watching this post with interest. I'm due any day from today to Sat so fingers crossed it was implantation pain! Keep us posted if you get BFP.

Thanks Mimi! The more I'm thinking about it the more I'm thinking it could be that I'm preg as I've never had this sort of cramp before expept when actually on or about the get AF. I'm just confused at to why its been over the last 6 days (seems v long time if AF was about to start) and comes and goes. Its usually in the mornings I've been feeling it. Have you noticed the time you get them is it mornings too?

I hope you get your BPF too, keep me posted on how you get on!

The worst pain (day 8 after ov) was all day and then can hit any time since. Got it now and it's evening. Not sure now if it is AF pain or preg. Had AF pain when preg with DD1 but also obviously before AF due. Who knows!! Good luck and I'll let you know if AF gets me. Testing Sun if not here before (vowed not to test early this month!)
