Smear test after miscarriage

Does anyone know how long you should wait to have a smear test after a miscarriage? I was due one before I got pregnant and then could not have one when I was so now I have had a miscarriage I would like to have one. Thanks

I had a mc last October and was allowed to have a smear ten weeks later .. I think the rule seems to be at least two cycles ..

My smear came back fine - although they warned me that there is a much higher incidence of smears coming back inconclusive or false positive after an mc so dont panic if yours comes back a little odd...
