charting and temp taking with irregular periods??

i have pcos and very very irregular periods, is it worth charting and temp taking even though periods are so irregular. if so where is the best place to get all the equipment needed. x

In a word, no. OPK's are particularly useless when PCOS is concerned as these kits detect LH. As many PCOSers have an excess of this hormone to start with the kit measures that excess and you can end up with multiple false positive results.

You are far better off having blood tests done as part of the overall treatment as these will give a more accurate picture. If you are not already under the care of a gynae then you should be; PCOS is a condition that sometimes requires careful management.
