IVF - bleeding 3 days before test. any hope?

A lovely friend of mine is going through her 2nd round of ivf. She had the insemination part (sorry, not au fait with the proper lingo) a week ago and is due to have a pg test on Thurs. She began bleeding on Sun night and has been on and off since. She's too scared to ring the clinic; has carried on taking the progesterone tablets but is going to still attend clinic Thurs and see what they say.

Could there still be any hope?

I HAD 3 rounds of IVF and got pg on third go. each time was different - i bled on one and then nothing on the other two. bleeding could be a sign of implantation (i know 2 people this happened to) or it could be bad news. To be honest untill she has a test its impossible to say. I drove myself nuts about it. IVF is a hard road, you just have to take each day at a time. I wish her lots of luck.

Do you mind if I ask you about your IVF experience?

I recently under went my first IVF process and had my fertilized eggs replaced yesterday. Today is day three for the eggs so presume they should have divided into 8 at some point today.

My question is should I be feeling any different or should I be looking for something imparticular? I just wondered whether there would be any signs yet that it had worked?
