Want to TTC number 2 but no ovulation

I have a DD (6 months) who I was breast feeding until a month ago. I was (wrongly) assuming that my period would have kicked back in now but still haven't had one - how long did it take for your cycle to get back to normal?

I think it really differs from person to person. You might not get them back until you stop breastfeeding completely, and it could be a couple of months after finishing.

I got mine back about 6 months later, but then I was mix feeding - not 100% breastfeeding. So it may stay away longer!

yikes, that is a thought, I just assumed it would be back right away. Oh well number 2 will have to wait! Thanks for sharing
