clomid and trigger shot- how long after should I ovulate?

Am feeling really fed up this am . I am on my first cycle of clomid and everything was going ok, have had scans and the clinic gave me the trigger shot on Sat am, saying ovulation was imminent. We SWI x2 on Sat and Sun as she said to do as much as poss and now I took my temp this am (I don't temp but do take it to check O) and it's still low. So is it likely I still haven't O?

Haribo - I was told ov occured 24-26 hours post injections. I never took my temps as I found that the clomid affected my body temp and it wasn't very accurate. Don't rely on your temping keep BDing for the next week or so and see what happens.

Thanks Oops, I bet I haven't ovulated. Am so annoyed with my body. I O anyway but late in my cycles so you would think with clomid and trigger it would do what it's meant to. I can't bear taking my temp again tomorrow am, too depressing! So will BD tonight and tomorrow night and take it again Wed am. Arrgghh I know we've blown it now by BD'ing too much over the weekend (too early). Hmm, I doubt DH's swimmers will be great quality now!

If ovulation was imminent, eggs were there and about to pop then you would have ov'd your body could not just stop it happening with the trigger shot. And with DH's swimmers it only takes one give it an evening's break and then try again tomorrow - sperm can last upto 5 days in the right conditions.

Do you think so oops? I really think tomorrow must be too late, surely? The consultant told me to BD before I went out on Sat night (when I said I was going out til late Sat eve)!!! So just really upset by the whole temp thing today and very confused, though have been distracted by stuff thank god! God I hate this TTC lark, I was so happy on Sat to have this trigger shot and a supposed pinpointed 'O'date. Oh well!

Did you suceed with clomid/ trigger combo?

Yes we did but I never got on with temping - I did it for a few cycles but never got the temp change even the month I concieved. It's not over until the fat lady sings
