Clomid and Symptoms

I am on my first cycle of clomid and was wondering what symptoms/side affects if any, any one has had?

I didn't get any symptoms at all, although others will probably come along and say that it did xyz to them. I guess it varies from person to person. Clomid resulted in me being pregnant on the second cycle and having DS after 4 years of subfertility. I hope it works for you. Good luck.

I'm one of those that felt terrible on it, like being pre menstrual for the whole month which wasn't conducive to intimate moments. I wasn't lucky and had to go on to ivf which was succesful. Good luck

Tifyv, I am feeling the same so good to know its normal, feel jittery and on edge and had really painful cramps mid cycle, along with burst of feeling hot and heart racing.How long did you try for clomid for before IVF?

I start clomid and iui next cycle (unless I miraculously get pregnant this cycle) so also keen to know.

I also had lotsa mood swings was on clomid for long time! 6 months before I decided that was it and it was sending me loopy!! Dsil took clomid and fell pg twice quite quickly!

We had ivf and a gorgeous boy now 3.5

nettiespaghetti, when you decided to start ivf how did you go about it? did the doctors still allow a free one on nhs or go straight private? feeling like may do the same even though only on 2nd cycle and just not sure what to do? if will have a job persuading doctor
