I've had 2 healthy pregnancies and now 2 miscarriages. I'm 19 days into what is generally quite a regular 28 day cycle and have started very light spotting. As I'm a bit paranoid after the miscarriages and I haven't had implantation bleeding that I've picked up on before, I'm wondering (hoping) if this is it. Please could anyone advise if they have had it and how long it could last

ANT, I'm not an expert, but as far as I know implantation spotting should happen 6-12 days after ovulation. So whether yours could be 'it' depends on when you may have ovulated. If you ovulated on Day 14 of a 28 day cycle it seems unlikely that this is implantation bleeding, but if it was a day or two earlier it could be. What exactly implantation bleeding is like and how long it goes on for seems to vary a lot. The web info generally says it is brown blood, very scant and shouldn't go on for more than a day or two at the most. I think I had it with DD and it was just a single splash of red blood, nothing more. But others seem to get more. I thought I might have had it this month but it turned out to be a worsening of my premenstrual spotting . Hope it all goes well for you.
