hi, just wondering if anyone has used the persona ovulation monitors, thinking its time to get a monitor after 4 years off the pill and still no sign of baby no2!
any thoughts gratefully received x

How old are you and how have your periods been since stopping the pill?.

If periods are irregular then ovulation is less likely to be happening regularly if at all. If periods are irregular too such a monitor is worse than useless.

Personally I would not be buying a persona but having blood tests done at the GPs instead to see what the hormone levels are like. Apart from this being far less expensive it will give a more accurate picture than a monitor. BTW both of you should be tested in tandem to see if there are any potential fertility issues with either of you.

i am 29 in may and since i stopped the pill my periods can vary from 28 to 33 days, but i did have a very long cycle last month and i was 3 weeks late! took a couple of test and all were negative and then it showed up. have been thinking that maybe its time to go and see the doctor.
