IUI a couple of questions ...

Had my first IUI last Wed and in my notes it says to do a pregnancy test on day 18.

I've had meds to boost cycle and Ovitrelle for ovulation and now on cyclogest pessaries for 2 weeks.

Why do i need to wait till day 18?

Also boobs are bigger and tender. Is this the progesterone in the cyclogest.

I think (but may be wrong) that I was advised to wait to test so that they could be sure the result was showing a real pregnancy and not just all those medication hormones swilling around in your system.
