day 31, no af but BFN...

Have a thread in pregnancy but thought i'd post here. Came off pill about 5/6 months ago due to migraines, been using condoms with a view to TTC at the end of the year. Cycle returned straight away and has never been longer than 28 days. Today is day 31 though, tested with clear blue and BFN. Not sure what to think or do next?

Ooh exciting! Easier said than done, but I guess try to relax and hold off a couple more days before testing again? Crossing fingers for you.

I'm no expert, but I believe that some women don't get BFP until several days after AF due, but equally some women can miss/have a late period without any particular reason. Not much help I know, so like Missjellycat says, best to wait a couple of days then test again. If still nothing, and you are worried, maybe ask GP?

I had to Wait until day 51 before I got a BFP, so hang in there, some women do take a while to build up the pregnancy hormone

it messes with your head so much - first I was panicing that I was, then I convinced myself that I was and was making plans, then I thought I wasn't due to the bfn, now apparently I still could be since af not here yet!!

All in the space of a day!!

Haha Moules I'm going through the same thing... panicking that I might be PG, then coming round to the idea, BFN but still no AF, what to feel - can't even control what to feel with hormones whizzing around, but are they due to AF on its way or PG?!

If your plan was to start TTC at the end of the year, are you and DH hoping for a BFP or hoping not just yet?

Af arrived on day 35, bfn galore leading up to it.
I was gutted, absolutely gutted.

well because I had convinced myself that I was pg, we both felt a bit disappointed with the bfn, which came as a surprise to both of us tbh, so we might consider bringing ttc forward is af doesn't show up.

Hi all, going through same thing too. Now on day 39 and 3 BFNs so far. I was on the pill too and came off in July and cycle since has never been longer than 32 days so don't know what's happening.
cluckyduck you've given me some hope but I'm still just expecting AF any day now really. TBH its really surprised me that it is a lot more difficult than I had thought this TTC lark!

well just to update it's day 32 and still no af - so am 4-5 days late now. wondering how long I can wait before I test again or ring gps.
