Playing the waiting game!!

Hi everybody,
I just wanted to chat to anybody who has recently ovulated and is now having to wait to find out if they are expecting or not.
This is my first month ttc since i lost my first son who was stillborn in may.
I am desperate to be pregnant again,not to replace my little boy,but to be back on that path i was following,and nearly at the end of
I was fertile between last wednesday and sunday just gone,my poor dh has been on demand for nearly two weeks!(bless him!)
We're so ready to do this again,i just hope it doesn't take too long(fingers crossed!)

Shelly i tested this morning, im 9p0 and the test said to do it earliest 10dpo but what the beck.

Anyway i got a faiint post BUT WAIT i read it after 10 mins as had to sort out a tea spillage so think is an evap line again. I will re test tomorow. How are you, have yours come???

Got ive got bad typose today meant to be what the HECK and what will be will be.

MaddyD - I got a very faint line at 9DPO with dd. I didn't see it until I fished it out the bin about half an hour (and 2 glasses of wine) later!

GOOD LUCK ALL OF YOU!!! I'm not ttc, but I follow all your journeys and get all excited when it's time for someone to test!!!!!

Shelly24 - I have so much admiration for the strength that anyone finds when they lose a baby, especially when so far in the pregnancy most of us start to relax. I really hope it happens for you nice and quickly.

Are you testing again today?Can you explain to me all these abreaveiations people use!?Feel abit silly for asking what is dpo?is it the days you count from the day you ovulated to the day your next period is due?
My AF is due on sunday 31st,so when is the earliest i could test?
When i got pregnant before a whole month went by after i missed a AF,before i tested!!thats how laid back i was before! Funny how things change a person huh!!!?

Shelly yes thats right 9 days past ovulation. How you doing? Did your tests come yet? Im sure you would have said if had.

You can do an early response test Shelly 4 days before your period.

My faint positive was 5 days before my AF was due.... and I used Boots own brand (which I believe are on offer at the moment ).

Toothach i keep looking at it. i can oly see it in certain light. Im sure its just my imagibation. Ill test agin in the morning.

MaddyD - I even took mine to the Nurse as I was due a smear the next day!! Nurse said "Eh.... its negative!" She must've thought I was mental when I said "NO! LOOOOOOOK CLOSER!!!". So she did, and then said "Oh I think you're right.... wait until your period is due then test again" Then she added with a "I don't think your period will arrive".

Right i must keep busy today so i dont obsess about it. What a nightmare all this is. Even if i am i gotta wait and hope it sticks this time. If i am i will need all my mn friends to keep me going as i dont intend teling a soul till im at least 16weeks

Hey Maddyd, Shelly and Toothache, Don't want to butt in, be the waiting is driving me mad as well! Can't test (although I have to no avail) till the weekend, but think I might try thursday just in case. Why isn't there a way of knowing sooner. I swear I have symptoms that I couldn't possibly have this early, but if you can have sypmtoms then why not a bfp? Like you said Maddyd, just keep busy and don't dwell...hmmm

Strike when are you due?

See I'm not really sure. I've never had a regular cycle. So 28 dpo is Saturday but I think my cycle is longer than that. 32 dpo (which it's been before is next Wednesday! So even with early tests and 4 days before 28 (which is bound to be too early) I have to wait till Thursday. I was please when AF arrive only 5 weeks after my erpc because it meant my system was firing again.

Mine too 55 days to come after it. It was horrible waiting.

So from what your saying i could potentially test in the next couple of days!? i wonder if i could hold out until AFTER sunday!??(nah!probably not!)
OH,i'm REALLY having an up ad down day today..have been intouch with sands this morning because i wanted to know my rights on returning back to work pregnant! i'm on maternity leave until end of october,was entitled to maternity leave because rhys was stillborn at 33wks(the usual 26wks).But wanted to know if i was entitled to up to a year if i needed to(am a nursery nurse,and right now REALLY can't handle the thought of going back to work to look after OTHER peoples babies )
Their getting back to me later to let me know,had a really nice chat actually...am not one for councelling i'm afraid!(I'm too stubborn!!)But they were really nice and made me feel abit better,but at the same time churned up emotions over loosing Rhys,and i ended up having alittle cry
Oh girls,i really want to be pregnant this month,i really want to have that feeling again,and be able to bring a healthy baby home,a little brother or sister from Rhys,a baby who can share his nursery we prepared for him
I try not to let it get to me so much,but its so so hard sometimes!

Think AF is on the way! Have lower tummy cramps and feelng abit bloated!

Shelly it is your first month of trying. Dont get too despondent yet, it hasnt arrived yet. Cramps are common eaarly pg, i know i get them. Fingers crossed.

Do you know anything about temps. Do they stay raised untill your af comes or do they stay raised if you are og?

To be honest i haven't gone down the 'temp' path yet...and if i'm REALLY honest i started ov testing on the tues(day before the first when i was meant to be most fertile...i was fertile between weds and sun,two weeks ago)and i carried on ov testing on the weds..nothing,thurs...nothing,fri...nothing! And i got fed up with it!Then i got info on the net that my most fertile day was the sunday!and i kicked myself for stopping testing on the fri!
I kept wondering why the ov test kept showing me as not fertile yet,when i worked those days out to be the right time!? It all really confuses me!
Anyway we BD'ed before,all the way through,and afterwards!so hopefully it will have done the trick somehow!!
To be honest i didn't get ANY signs last time! so i don't know!...just leave it to fate i guess!.x.xHow you this eve maddyd?.x

Truthfully i dont know if im coming or going today. This is just all too much. My friend had a 29 day cycle same as me and couldnt understand why day 13,14, 15 etc said she wasnt fertile. Turns out she didnt ov till day 18 and shed beeen bding at all the wrong times bless her. So i may have missed mine too although all the signs are pointing in the right direction.

If im not pg this month im going to have to get ov sticks

I think i'm gonna leave the ov sticks for acouple of months,if not preg this time round.
Just think it puts so much pressure on you somtimes,and yet at the same time WHEN they work,i think they give you the best chance of finding your fertile days.
Whats the symtoms like today hun? do you think this month could be your month(fingers crossed!)
Whens the deadly AF due!

2nd or £rd of August. Not many symptoms but i mayhave got a faint posotive this morning. Not sure though may be imagination. My temps are high and im knackered and got a bit of belly ache which i think is wind

What will be will be. Ill test again tomorrow and we will see. xxxxxx
