Alcohol and ttc - hit me with the facts!

OK, my situation is this: we have two dc, conceived very easily. Been trying for dc3 for about 2 years now. I had two mcs last year, both at about 11 weeks. I am, and always have been, exceptionally careful when pregnant and ttc - avoid caffeine, no alcohol, runny eggs, rare meat, soft cheese.... you know the deal. BUT (and here's the question), when I get AF each month I tend to commiserate by allowing myself all the things I can't have when pregnant, including alcohol. Am I harming my chances of conceiving by having this alcohol? I should emphasise that it's not loads - some wine in the evenings - and I go back to being very strict as soon as we start BDing again each month.

Tell me what you know, ladies.

hi prinpo i do exactlly the same. when AF arrives DH pours me a wee glass of wine. I'm sure some people will say no way but i think a glass or two is acceptable.

Alcohol in moderation is fine while TTC.
