Hello
I received the results but not staying at the same hospital so no idea what it means! The results are 23.1 pmol/1 and then another figure of 0.0-37.0
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Am not entirely sure but I think there are 2 diferent ways to measure AMH. You might need to find out from your clinic/Dr which one they use.

Mine was 2.6 which is considered very low and not good for conception.

here is some info about AMH results, but it looks like they corespond to the results you have been given.

Could you ring the doctor for more info?

oooh - I found this

"AMH levels are considered optimal between 28.6 pmol/L - 48.5 pmol/L, satisfactory between 15.7 pmol/L - 28.6 pmol/L and low between 2.2 pmol/L - 15.7 pmol/L. They do not vary through the menstrual cycle and can be measured on any day."

so if yours is 23 Pmol (think the 1 must be an 'L') then that's in the 'satisfactory' range

Just realised that in my first post I should have said 'doesn't look like they correspond'.

Glad I could help. Good luck

HI, Have just got my AMH back today, and one thing the explanation letter says is that there are 2 ways, or assays for determining what the AMH is, so it is very important to look at what the normal ranges are. for the 2nd generation test, the levels are about 40% higher.
Not that that really helps, cause what I really need to know is can I have a baby and what do I have to do to get there. Good luck everyone!
