Have namechanged due to TMI

After almost five years of wishing Dh would change his mind about ttc#3 he finally has!

Except my body is confusing me, had coil removed in Feb had spotting at roughly the same time every 28 days the whole year it was in. Was told periods would return as normal.

TMI sorry.
Two days after that had horrendous bleeding with massive clots similar to bleeding after childbirth, only with terrible cramps, this lasted for two and a half weeks.

If I counted that as a period then I am now on CD34 I don't feel due on at all no sore boobs or cramps. Have had negative pregnancy tests on CD28, CD30 and CD33.

Whats going on? Should I go to GP, keep on SWIing or wait for AF to appear.

My GP told me it can take a few months for your cycle to return to normal after the removal of the coil. My cycles were short after I had mine removed last July. But I'd been using the coil for over 6 years. So it makes sense that it could take a while for my body to get rid of all the hormones.

It took me 5 months (7 cycles) to get my BFP. sadly MMC 4 weeks ago so waiting to see what my cycle comes back like now.

I would give it a couple more cycles to see if it straightens out. I know how it is though, once you decide to get it removed you want to get preg straight away.

Good luck. If nothing else this will bump your thread and someone more knowledgable might help you.

Good luck TTCing.

Thanks so much for replying hippychick.
I am truly sorry for your loss, and am sending you unmumsnetly hugs. I hope everything works out for you soon.

I am now on suspected CD37, my boobs are agony so had convinced myself I was pg but had another negative test this morning, so I'll just have to wait and see.

Painful boobs sounds like a good sign.

If you are successful at TTCing come and find me somewhere on the conception or preg threads and let me know, if you get the chance.

I'll do the same, if I can.

Thanks for your hugs.

Just realised it's gonna be hard to come and find you if I have good news. Because you have 2 names for me to remember and I'm rubbish at remembering all these long names. Still, I'm sure we'll bump into each other at some point on here .

Ha ha! I'm no good at this double life lark
Af arrived on Weds but not as bad as before.
Will definately try and look out for you, on a preg thread soon hopefully.
