Implantation bleed/early AF/early pg loss? Bit confused!

Hello,

Can anybody offer me some advice please? I'll apologise for TMI in advance, especially at this hour!

I'm on CD 27 of a usually 'set your watch by' 32 day cycle. I'm 10DPO (fairly sure) and SWI'd at what I believed to be OV.

AF usually arrives in the form of proper blood in the morning of CD 33.

So yesterday morning, I had 1 'wipe' of blood streaked CM and then nothing for the rest of the day, this has never happened before.

This morning, again some spotting so I utilised my mooncup and went swimming. I emptied the mooncup when I got home (about 2 hours later) and it was full to about 7ml, slightly clotty contents.

Does anybody have any idea what this might be? I thought yesterday's spotting might be implantation bleeding, but could that be as heavy as this? Or has AF got me early this month? I've had no other PMT/pregnancy symptoms at all.

Might it be that the bean tried to implant, failed and this is an early pg loss?

I know the answer is to wait and see, but was just wondering if anyone had any experience of this and could possibly shed some light on it please?

Many thanks

Hi there,

I had an implantation bleed with my first PG, at about the same stage as you (give or take a day). It sounded as browny coloured CM and some slight back-pain (although I could have imagined the pain - you know when you're looking for something...) and then the CM went to a reddy colour. Didn't have as much as you but I don't think the amount necessarily means much.

Within a couple of days, the bleed stopped. The day AF was due, it didn't arrive and I got a BFP. Unfortunately for me, a week later I had an MC, but this was NOT AT ALL related to the Implantation bleed. So many have an implantation bleed and go on to have healthy PGs.

So I wish you loads of Good Luck and hope that you get your BFP!

xxx

Thanks for your reply DawnAS, and so sorry to hear of your loss.

I think my earlier post might have been wishful thinking as the bleeding has gone on all day and is now unmistakably AF.

Oh well, at least this means am on CD1, so that much closer to next ovulation, eh?

Thanks again.
