I want a baby....

I just can't be bothered to have sex. I am so tired. DS is 9 months old and I feel he needs a sibling. We have sort of started trying.

DH and I are both tired (him from work, me from DS) and we struggle to be in the mood at the same time. ATM we are doing well if we manage once a week.

Seriously, how do we find time to have sex when we are both tired?

You don't, you get some sleep! Are you trying to kill yourself?

If you are still exhausted from having dc1, why not leave it until the autumn to try for dc2. What about booking a holiday in September, having a well earned rest and a bit of a love-fest at the same time.

You could take it in turns to sleep in a hammock during the day (even if it is only in the back garden) and then have fun without the exhaustion at night when baby no.1 is fast asleep.

Its a tough one i know exactly how u feel.. well sort of im not trying for another but DD is 11 months old and me and DP can never be bothered or find the time for eachother. plus im still breastfeeding and it can be hard to feel sexy. I think making a time to have sex makes it almopst like a chore. try and keep it spontanious but make more of an effort to make time for eachother

Seriously, if you're too tired for sex how on earth will you cope with pregnancy / a new baby?

Fair enough stop using contraception, but just shag when you can actually be arsed.

Stop put ridiculous amounts of pressure on yourselves to provide your 9 mo baby with a sibling that he neither wants or needs right now.
