Hello all
New to posting here (after joining decades ago!).
I am 40, have a 10 year old and now trying for no 2. Just had an early miscarriage (6/7 weeks). All seems fine. Just stopping bleeding, not been bad at all. Started last Thursday (today Monday).
So......when can we start trying again? The pg test now says negative and I am getting a line on the OPK and feel fine.
The letter from hospital says to wait one cycle. Should I? Is that for any particular health reason.
Thanks a lot. I'm glad to have rediscovered Mumsnet and think I am going to be around for a while (though hopefully not on this forum, LOL!)

Hi Daisy, sorry to hear your news, hope you're ok. The dr's generally say to wait one cycle just so you can say when your last period was, for dating purposes really. As far as i am aware there are no health issues at all.

Come and join us on the just miscarried, trying again thread (i can't remember the exact name as i am a jellyhead and can't check as i'm posting on my phone!) lots of us all in the same boat and lots of knowledge there too. Hope this helps x
