Well, got a BFN this morning was convinced it was going to be BFP as I have been feeling really sick for the last 4 days, but i used First Response, so they should be reliable, shouldn't they?
I am on CD 30, of a cycle that could be between 28 and 35 days (but usually 32).
Could it be wrong? I do not have any symptoms other than sickness. I really thought i would get BFP, now I feel

I bought some really sensitive tests off Amazon that were supposed to be able to tell you from 4 days before AF is due. I did 3 tests that were all BFN but I was still feeling sick and still hadn't had AF. I then did another one and saw a really faint, almost invisible line. so I dug the test I'd done that morning out of the bin and saw a really faint line on there too. I went and bought a digital test and got my BFP. Just to check, I did another of the early tests a few days later and the line was still really faint. I'd say give it a couple more days and if still no AF, do another test - pref a digital one even though they are so ridiculously expensive! HTH!

Hi tummy - like your name Sorry about your BFN, it is disappointing isn't it? I got a BFN too this morning, also on first response at CD 26 out of ??? cycle (not long off contraception, so going by 28 days).

With DD, I got a very, very faint line on the test with the blue cross, can't remember the brand, and went out and got a digital one which gave me my BFP. I'd tested BFN the day before.

I do have a digital test in the cupboard, but going to wait until AF is later to use - as others have said, v expensive!

With DD my only pg symptoms until about 6 weeks were v sore boobs, but everyone is different.

Hi, I'm new to this site but wanted to say sorry as well - I also got a negative test on Saturday. This is my first go at ever trying to get pregnant - so was the first cycle where I think I had gotten the fertility dates etc right - leading up to the weekend I had some possible signs as well - very tender boobs, cramping, always on the loo and I felt sick a few times when I caught the smell of strong odours such as coffee and vinegar.

To make matters worse friends of ours announced on Saturday that they are pregnant - 4 weeks (husband has a big mouth) so she is at the stage I would be if I had gotten a positive.

I know I am very earlt in the whole process of TCC - but am frankly shocked how massive this is for me - how all consuming and how because it all seems so unpredictable etc that I feel frustrated that I might even be wasting my time.

I guess its like everyone is playing music chairs and I'm afraid I wont get a seat.

Still period duly arrived so a new cycle and new chance!

Thanks everyone. Still no af yet though, but trying not to be too hopeful. I am going to try and hold out until the weekend and if still no af test again. I wish it would hurry up so I could get going on next month! I am trying to plan ways to make it more likely to happen, and fear I may say good bye to that evening glass (or two ) of wine. It may help.

SpanishLady - sorry you got a BFN - good luck thism onth - maybe we will have some lovely Christmas babies joining us in time for the festivities!

Wholelootalove - good luck for your bfp - let us know how you go with the digi.

I will look back later - must go to bed, have been on a night shift on labour ward - not helping my broodiness!
