How early can implantation happen?

I have short cycles (about 3 weeks - OV about day 8-9), and am on Micronor, a minipill. DH and I are planning to TTC in May/June as he doesn't want a Christmas baby (he is a Christmas baby himself!) I missed a pill on Thursday, had sex on Friday (oops.). My period was ten days ago, and today I've had a very tiny amount of pinkish blood nd some grumbly period pains. Is there a chance this could be implantation? If I ov'd on Thursday after missing the pill that would make this 4dpo? Has anyone else had implantation this early? I've never had ovulation pain/spotting midcycle before and I didn't have an implantation bleed with DS so don't know what it's like.

I think it's just wishful thinking as I don't really want to wait another two months to TTC!!

Hi I can only give you my experience when I was on the pill I missed several pills and nothing happened. I would suggest and it's only my opinion that the bleed you had was a withdrawl bleed I used to get a little bleed if I forgot to take a pill. Some people do concieve by missing a pill but if you read the threads here for most conception takes longer sadly. Hope you get onto your ttc journey soon.

Hi Nanny, thanks for that. I've never had a withdrawal bleed with the minipill before though, and it was 4 days after missing it?? Does sound like that it what it was though.

I can off the mini pill cerezette it took 5-6 weeks for my period to return. Initialy I had cramps for a week. I would say you would be lucky or unlucky getting pregnant though it does happen. I have been off the pill for a few months now though you can have a boomerang effect when stopping. So I think that if you have been on the mini pill for a while I think that it could be a withdrawl bleed as my period took longer than that, I presume you are still taking the mini pill so the bleed would have stopped. Hope this helps
