Question about pregancy tests and the Pill.

Basically, do pregancy tests still work if you are taking the pill? More specifically, yasmin. Sorry if it's a stupid question!

I've somehow got it into my head that being on the pill will interfere with the results!

Being on the pill will not in itself give a false reading on a pregnancy test

Pregnancy tests are looking for a hormone called HGC, which you only produce when you are pregnant.

The pill uses oestrogen and progesterone to trick your body into thinking it is pregnant. But tests don't measure these hormones, so it won't have any impact on the result you get.
