evil HPT

i'm newly ttc, and already i'm thinking HPTs are a bit evil. last month was my first trying, and i managed to wait until a few days before my AF before testing - and still my results were troublesome! i got a faint but very much there line. the next day i tested the line was very very faint. i put it down to a chemical pregnancy...

so a couple of questions, as this is my first post.

  1. ARE HPTs really evil? I think they were put here to torture us slowly.
  1. How many people discuss their tests with partners/friends? All my close friends know we're ttc and i felt a bit lonely last month not being able to discuss the CP. but i guess thats why this forum is here, to get support from others going through the same thing.
  1. Do faint lines get fainter, and ever regain strength? Or do lines getting fainter always mean a CP?
  1. Pls what does ww mean? it's taken me three weeks to understand all the shortcuts but I'm lost on this one...

  1. Yes, HPTs are inherently evil
  2. I tend not to tell people we are ttc, but since have been pg every year for the last six years people just kind of assume it now as a default mode.
  3. Faint lines do get stronger. Look at poas.com for the photo gallery!
  4. week wait (as in 2 ww?)
