Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

Sorry to hear about AF decaf I really thought this was your month for BFP.

Lib76 keeping FC for you hun.

Pinkie I don't think you can SWI. Think you're prob like me and haven't OV which then delays AF coming. Or perhaps you OV a lot later than usual for some reason? You can still do it for fun though!

I'm totally fed up too, am bloated like a whale. Totally agree as well that if we're not praying for AF not to turn up we are wishing it along!

PinkiePoo · 20/04/2010 10:12

boba how annoying! I thought this might be the case but thought i would pop my dumbass hat on and ask

The sad thing is i have no energy to do it for 'fun' at the moment, ha ha, what a loser!!

So maybe a blessing that i can have a nice rest....i am 26 going on 70!!!!

boba82 · 20/04/2010 10:18

I may be wrong Pinkie maybe you have just ovulated late?

I know the feeling it just turns into a chore doen't it?!

I must say though that we can't do it this week as DH is doing a sperm sample on Thurs and we are both frisky as hell as a result. Just a pity that Thurs night will not be an optimim time for TTC.

PinkiePoo · 20/04/2010 10:24

Yeah maybe boba just such a pain.

fingers crossed for the DH though...its always the worst, when you can't you just wanna shag the brains out of each other, ha ha! I am the same when AF is here!

Oh what a funny little world we live in....always wanting something we cannot have, or cannot have ...yet ! x

decafgirl · 20/04/2010 11:02

Arrggh! Someone at work has just put their scan pic up with 'guess who?' written on it and now everyone is asking ME if I am pregnant! Worst day ever. Can't believe I'm having to walk around laughing and joking

PinkiePoo · 20/04/2010 11:15

oh decafgirl big BIG hugs! The worst thing.... but who knows next month it might be you?!

xxx

Ariesgirl · 20/04/2010 11:16

Sorry to crash the thread (I was on it many moons ago before it became evident that December-wishing was cloud cuckoo land). But decaf, I'm with you on wanting to slap such women. Nothing more than attention seeking . I know it must be exciting being pregnant, I know, but not everyone else wants/needs to be part of it. I was working with a girl at work who didn't tell anyone until the 6th month, just carried on as normal. I really appreciated that.

I'll slink away now...

boba82 · 20/04/2010 11:17

I hate the smug ones decaf

decafgirl · 20/04/2010 11:29

Thanks so much I can't even explain to DH how much this hurts. I swear, if one more person comes and RUBS MY STOMACH and says 'it's you isn't it?' I might have to go home xxxxxxxxx

Ariesgirl · 20/04/2010 11:33

Rubs your stomach?? FFS! Poke them in the bloody eye.

Cazzr · 20/04/2010 12:01

Ok so am 15 dpo so AF due tomorrow. Had a day of spotting at 10dpo but then nothing but since yesterday started spotting again and have lower back ache.
Trying to remain sane and just say 'oh well, AF on her way' but desperately thinking 'ooh maybe it;s still implantation spotting..'.

Gonna be gutted as I said if things don't happen this month I'm going to take a couple of months off to lose weight which I know is sensible, and a christmas baby wouldn't be ideal with all the xmas birthdays in my family but... I WANT ONE NOW!

Feel so stupid thinking back then that i'd fall pg first month. Obviously things were too easy conceiving DS and I'm paying for it now..

Goes off to rock in the corner and feel like a spoilt brat.

Cazzr · 20/04/2010 12:04

Decafgirl: my work collegues know how broody I have been the past year and I occasionally get the 'any news?' question. It's so hard but I can't imagine that happening, feel so annoyed and upset for you.
I am definitely going to be very discrete when the time comes as I'm now learning what it's like to want to be pg so much and it not happen...

boba82 · 20/04/2010 15:04

decaf I agree with aries tell them to
f*%k off, cheeky swines!

cazzr totally sympathise hun, I naively thought I would fall straight away too. I don't have any DC so don't be silly thinking you are "paying" for anything.

I've just heard from my preg friend saying she doesn't know what she'll do if this 2nd DC is another boy, she supposes she'll have to keep having more until it's a girl! Felt like telling her she's fu*%ing lucky to be pregnant at all !!

Doozie · 20/04/2010 16:10

Hi, I'm off the bus! No luck this month, best keep on practising! Good luck to everyone.

UmBongo · 20/04/2010 16:17

I'm off too. Hope not to see you last passengers turn up on the January bus!! Good Luck to all.

Molly79 · 20/04/2010 19:09

AF just started so I am off the bus. Good luck to all those still here

decafgirl · 20/04/2010 19:54

Mmm...wine...chocolate buttons...day getting better... xxxx

mumatron · 20/04/2010 21:11

good luck to those testing soon.

good luck on the jan bus to all those leaving.

am a bit at the wine decaf. i seem to be craving beer at the moment

decafgirl · 20/04/2010 21:16

Ah well, if you will go and get yourself up the stick...

I'm sure the low alcohol stuff tastes much the same

How you feeling anyway hon? xxx

mumatron · 20/04/2010 21:20

im ok. stil dont really belive im pg.

except for the gigantic boobs!

went to see gp today, get myself in the system as it were.

just read about what happened in your work. some people just dont get it do they? i work with some insensative pricks people but cant say i have had anything quite like that happen to me.

x

decafgirl · 20/04/2010 21:28

Yeah, it was a new one on me too! I work in a pretty big school so just as I'd got over all the teaching staff speculating I then had the dinner ladies, then the cleaners this pm. Utter nightmare. I think I managed to laugh it off quite well. The funny thing is no one guessed the correct person because she only came back off mat leave in September...

When I was pg with DS my syptoms didn't kick in until week 6/7 and then I was ROUGH! Until that point I just couldn't believe I was pg - even on the day of our scan I fully expected the woman to say "I'm sorry, there's clearly been a mistake, you're not pregnant..." Pleased you're ok xxx

mumatron · 20/04/2010 21:35

oh i am def making the most of being relatively symptom free....for now.

x

Cazzr · 21/04/2010 07:43

ok so AF has arrived with avengance overnight .

Anyone know much about the Clearblue fertility monitor? I'm thinking about getting one to double check I'm ovulating when I think I am but wonder if i'm clutching at straws.

Now faced with whether to go along with the whole not ttc for the next couple of months whilst losing weight or try alongside. I worry I'll be all like 'oooh it's the 2 ww, it's dangerous to diet in this time' and go eat lots of chocolate....

Good luck to those left, I'll continue lurking here for a bit.

Goes off to feel sorry for myself again to get it out of my system.

PinkiePoo · 21/04/2010 09:26

Morning all, and what a lovely morning it is. I have 1 hour of work today and then off to get my hair done.....oh its a hard life!!

I have been trying to keep up with the threads, so here goes>>>

Caz i think personally if you feel the CBFM will help you ease your mind then go for it, but i tried the CBO Ov monitor and i lived my life by it, and mood totally went by what the monitor said, so decided to ditch. Not healthy for the not so strong minded However i think you should go for doing the diet AND SWI. Whats the harm? As long as you eat healthily and not starve yourself, i don't see what harm it can do.....good luck girl, it will all work out itself out soon enough x

mumatron lucky you. Although i am sure those little symptoms may creep up on you sooner than later, the smaller price to pay for being preggo but lets face it....its all worth it!! Hope you don't get too sick though, if at all. Fingers crossed!

decaf hope those irritating colleagues of yours have laid off with the stomach touching....i would have seriously whacked them one, mindless t**ts! So many people keep asking me 'ooohhh so its your turn soon surely'...YES I BLOODY WELL KNOW IT IS....ARGGHHHHHH!!!

ok and breathe!!

doozie, umbongo and molly sorry for AF...if mine gets a move on i will be seeing you shortly!

cave any news o the job??

Well i had a little chat with a lovely lady from BMI Healthcare yesterday, and she said i prob didnt ovulate at all, hence no AF, so if still not here by end of next week, i need to go to docs, as it would have been 2 months with no AF for me!! Great, but then hopefully i can start getting some answers!! x

Have a lovely day ladies, whether it be working or chilling, or whatever, hope you get to see some of the sun.....ahhh now where are my sunnies and sun lotion

Cazzr · 21/04/2010 10:49

Pinkie: thanks, I think I'll give the monitor a miss for now as I think I am obsessing enough already. I'm 95% sure I am ovulating (I get the pains) but just getting paranoid.

I think I will go for the diet, not jump on the next bus but if I feel like having fun with DH and it happens to be the right time then all good.
Going to steer clear of checking for EWCM and trying to second guess everything.
A spring baby sounds good and means I can get a couple of months of riding the horse without worrying I am doing it pregnant (like it would be a problem anyway in the first few weeks! see how nuts I've been!).

Ok, feeling stronger again, ready to battle ahead with things.

Better get on with some work eh?!

Oh and Pinkie, enjoy your hair pampering and good luck with the ttc (everyone else too of course).
