Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

Evening all.

Can I ask a really stupid (and full of wishfull thinking) question.

Still no AF for me but I keep thinking it is on it's way am feeling sick, so so so hungry and now have sore boobs which I don't get with AF. I am not overly excited as my periods have been so irregular after finishing the pill.

The silly question I have is about HPT's. I have been using the cheap tesco ones. I can not believe the differnce is price, does that mean they are not as accurate?

mumatron · 18/04/2010 21:15

hi molly

i normally use tha asda cheapy ones or the really cheap, £1 for two home bargain ones and usually get a bfp 1-2 days before af due.

last tues i bought 2 tesco own tests, very faint bfp. next day bought 2 first response very definate bfn. next day bought 2 sensetive cheap ones and got definate bfps on both.

afaik clearblue and fr are sensetive to 25miu of hcg and the cheap ones i bought are 10 miu.

so price shouldnt make any difference.

sorry for waffly post, tis late

mumatron · 18/04/2010 21:16

and at the bad spelling

decafgirl · 18/04/2010 21:26

Hi ladies, had to comment on the last couple of posts as I tested with a tesco cheapy this moning (24hrs earlier than planned) and got a BFN . Still have all the symptoms I've already talked about so am hoping it was too early but the realist in me says I will probably be joining the jan bus soon. Will know one way or another tomorrow I suppose as I reckon that'll be 14 dpo...or maybe 12...arrggh! stupid bloody body!!!!!

mumatron · 18/04/2010 21:29

decaf sorry for the bfn.

are you sure of when you ov'd? probably a silly question!

decafgirl · 18/04/2010 21:41

Well, temp went up just above cover line on CD33 & CD34 then went up properly CD35 so I counted 14 days from CD33 which takes me to tomorrow but maybe I should test again on Wed or Thurs if there's no sign of AF. It really doesn't feel like it's on its way. Ah, I wish I was see through!!

mumatron · 18/04/2010 21:49

am not a fan of temping personally, but only because im not able to do it same time every morning.

i know i would pick holes in my chart because of that.

well, i will keep my fingers firmly crossed for you.

decafgirl · 18/04/2010 21:52

Thank you, I realise I'm starting to sound a wee bit crazy now! Back to work in the morning so hopefully that will distract me from 'symptom' spotting for a while.

mumatron · 18/04/2010 21:56

not crazy at all!

after my last mc i had a 52 day cycle. that nearly bankrupted me! never peed on so many sticks.

think thats why im such a fan of the cheapies.

guilt free peeing, lol.

decafgirl · 18/04/2010 22:16

Will definately need to find some cheapies if this continues much longer! xx

mumatron · 18/04/2010 22:22

i loe the cheapies. dp hates them, so he buys the good ones to put his own mind at rest.

Congrats Mimi!

Sorry about AF womanly Decaf hang on in there, any news today?

Mimi1977 · 19/04/2010 14:46

Decaf I got a BFN 12DPO and day 14 I didn't see any line but DH did after about 5 mins - just. I waited till 21DPO for my BFP which was forever!! Remember that HCG doubles every TWO days so may not get that much of a different result on the immediate day after a BFN. If you can wait until the day after tomorrow it's worth it. Hard I know!

PinkiePoo · 19/04/2010 16:32

decaf just to echo the others don't be disheartned just yet honey......it aint over till its over.

Saying that....day 46 and nada for me!! I am def out on the running for Crimbo baba...but just wish it would bloody hurry up. Madness, we are either not wanting AF to come or egging it on too......

decafgirl · 19/04/2010 20:32

Hi ladies, bad news for me this morming I'm afraid. BFN then AF this afternoon. At least I can crack on with our next 'go' now.

It's so weird as I was still confident I could be pg as late as 5pm today as my boobs were just as they were when I was pg with DS. I was sitting in a meeting at work sure I was about to start leaking milk! That would have been a surprise for the boss!

Think I'm going off to start the February bus as the due date thingy says the 30th of Jan and I don't want to sit at the back!

Maybe it'll be lucky! Lots of love and luck to everyone still waiting xxxxx

LittleB · 19/04/2010 21:13

Sorry to hear that decaf girl, but good luck with february bus.
I got a cb faint bfp today so I think I can officially graduate now, although its still very early days so being tentative about everything, but crampy af feelings have now gone, and I feel fine, so hoping thats a good sign.

Mimi1977 · 19/04/2010 21:28

Decaf really sorry. At least you can count the days to SWI now! Good luck and hope it doesn't take too long.

mumatron · 19/04/2010 21:44

sorry decaf all the best for the feb bus.

congrats again little

decafgirl · 19/04/2010 21:49

Thanks ladies and mucho congrats little - it's amazing seeing that line appear isn't it?! xxx

Lib76 · 20/04/2010 07:35

so, did a FR this am and BFN think i am due on sun. thing i am wondering is the line that comes up is MUCH thinner than illustrated on picture?? all other test i have done with other brands show the line as the same size. any ideas??

Mimi1977 · 20/04/2010 07:44

Yes Lib - the first test I did the line was really thin, the second test a little thicker - but still nowhere near as thick as the test one or the ones on the leaflet. The one a week later was thick.

Lib76 · 20/04/2010 07:46

thanks mimi so how many days later did you get bfp? i am still holdin gout hope, albeit slim!! x

PinkiePoo · 20/04/2010 09:28

lib i am holding my breathe for you lovely. Really hope it happens!!

Right i am gonna swallow my pride and ask what i think could potentially be a 'silly' question but i am just not sure, so here goes:

I am on CD 47 and now no sign of AF, also 2 BFN, so....is SWI still possible?? Or do i have i have to wait until the god damned thing arrives? No cramping, no sore boobs, skin has cleared up, so what now??? is it EVER going to come?? I have gone AF crazy!!
