Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

mumatron WAHOO!!!!!!! Fab news honey!!!! More preggos....love how long that list is looking!!!

decafgirl · 16/04/2010 08:51

Yay mumatron that's great news! Pleased to see you're doing well spanishlady - I wonder how some of our other grads are getting on...?

Thank you for all the positive vibes, I'm too used to BFNs so don't want to get my hopes up yet! I'm not at the depressed 'this is never going to happen for me' stage yet so if it is a BFN on monday I'll just want to crack on with the next 'go' ! Ah well, fingers crossed till then...will be on 'boob watch' all day!

Congratulations mumatron

Glad you're doing well spanishlady.

Keeping FC for you decaf!

Good luck to all those POAS this weekend!

mumatron · 16/04/2010 14:48

thank you boba

will still hang around here for a while longer. still very early days.

womanlytales · 16/04/2010 16:04

Wonderful news Mumatron -- Have a wonderful rest of the day and weekend and let it sink in.

Good to hear from you spanishlady

Best of luck to all those who are POAS this weekend and next week.

I personally am having a low day. So waiting for it to get over and look forward to something nicer tomorrow.

womanlytales · 16/04/2010 16:14

Can I just admit that I am terrified of testing [poas] because I feel that a BFN would crush me...
I have no symptoms, even the few are more related to my AF being due and yet I desperately hope... At the start of the 2ww at least you had 2 whole weeks...now I feel like there's only a handful of days....and having gone through the symptom lists in at least 15 sites...I am worried.

PinkiePoo · 16/04/2010 18:54

womanlytales if by anchance you get a BFN (which i sincerely hope you don't) then i am with you with the crushing feeling!

I too, after CD 43 thought i may just maybe still have a slight glimmer of being in the pink and did another today, to another BFN. Sat on my sofa, to the tune of this morning, and cried myself silly. I speak to the handful of people who know i am TTC and all i get is 'stop being silly. you will be fine, stop obsessing about it' but it is so easy for them to say it, when they have children, including my OH. Spent the whole day feeling down in the dumps and only now starting to feel more positive again and 'normal' and enjoyed a nice glass of pinot with cashews to cheer myself up.

The moral of this self pitying story is that you have every right to feel down if you get the BFN, its normal to. So comfort eat, and let yourself feel what you need to, and before you know it, positivity will creep back in and you will start to feel better!!

Or who knows.....you may just may have some good news

womanlytales · 16/04/2010 19:04

Thanks PinkiePoo - I went for a long walk, it is lovely out there and have come back refreshed and battle ready. Tomorrow is another day. Here's to keeping the faith across cycles. Pinot and cashews sounds great.

Wholelottalove · 16/04/2010 19:17

mumatron ooh congratulations! Woo-hoo!

Fingers crossed for everyone who is testing in next few days.

PinkiePoo sorry for your BFN, sounds like you have the right approach - nothing wrong with getting upset, it's natural. I am sure you will get your BFP very soon.

I'm ok, still lurking on this thread to see how everyone is. Early days for me too and have done another couple of tests. The line was v dark this morning and came up immediately which reassured me. Having cramps a lot, slightly sicky and increasingly sore boobs, but mainly v v knackered and mood swingy. But still v delighted in case this is sounding negative in any way.

Sending lots of positive vibes to everyone.

PollyPoo · 17/04/2010 07:06

Well it seems I have won my wish for a christmas baby! Peed on a FR this morn and got a +ive, woop woop!

Feeling a bit strange - have spent the last two years wanting this and now feel quite shocked.

Anyone out there who is struggling I strongly recommend traditional chinese medicine (herbs) and acupuncture. 21 months of fail then 3 on the above = result!

Good luck to everyone else, I hope we get lots more BFPs this month.

Congratulations polly !

Pinkie and womanly I totally get how you both are feeling. I have been totally fed up recently too but going to GP has cheered me up a wee bit as looking forward to tests.

PollyPoo · 17/04/2010 10:13

Thank you Boba Good luck with the tests.

Mimi1977 · 17/04/2010 16:15

So sorry for all the BFNs - it is so disheartening.

Big congratulations to Mumatron and Pollypoo

Well after my very weak positive on Monday and my reluctance to be graduated I POAS this morning and got a truly BFP!!!! Still bit reluctant to get too excited but I've got to 5 weeks now. Will still be keeping one foot in here though and sending lots of positive vibes to you all!!

Lib76 · 17/04/2010 17:00

not been on for a while as was trying to just swi without worrying about fertile days etc, as i had heard that the best way to ttc is to swi 3 x weekly! so im now day 28 but last cycle was actually 35 so guess AF due tues onwards! so of course i am now back to convincing myself that i am PG! Really fancy a small glass of wine tonight..do you think i should?

Molly79 · 17/04/2010 17:20

Another BFN for me today and still no AF grrrrrrrrrrrrrr congrats for the BFP's x

decafgirl · 17/04/2010 18:05

Hi ladies, congrats mimi - so lovely to see another BFP

Gutted for you molly hope AF comes soon so you know where you are.

Am rather proud of myself for making it through another day without POAS. I'm very aware that there's really only a very, very small chance but can't help but get my hopes up a teeny tiny bit... I totally understand the fear of getting a BFN so am quite happy to put off testing till Monday morning. I even checked the Tesco test instructions this morning and they said to use from the 1st day period is due so there's another reason not to test early!

I've still got sore boobs, still feel sick & temp is still up but, as we all know those are also pretty obvious signs AF is on the way too....ah, damn you mother nature!

womanlytales · 17/04/2010 19:13

Mimi , Polly Poo - Congratulations to both of you

Am hanging in there for my POAS on Monday. Feel like AF is on its way though so a bit grim.

Sending positive vibes out to everybody testing.

mumatron · 17/04/2010 19:43

good luck womanly hope you get your bfp.

Wholelottalove · 17/04/2010 20:44

pollypoo and mimi - congratulations!

Good luck to womanly and decaf for Monday.

womanlytales · 18/04/2010 11:04

I am crushed - AF came this morning. So I am certainly out of the December bus. I am not going to test. I read somewhere in the threads that it's best to wait till after your AF to test since it's sensible and will save you money -- somehow I am not feeling sensible or profitable at this moment.

Went for a long walk in the morning - miraculously cleared up my head. I am able to now think about the next month and that's a blessing.

Best of luck to all those testing and lots of baby dust your way.

Lib76 · 18/04/2010 12:19

So i gave in and used a FR, BFN but guess it's too early as pretty sure i ovulated last Sat. Will keep the second one till mid-week. DH thinks i'm mad for testing so early!!

Sorry that AF arrived womanly is so gutting isn't it?

Mimi1977 · 18/04/2010 14:12

So sorry womanly. The first few days are always the worst as you really do grab on to every ounce of hope you can that this really could be your month. Here's to next month.

Decaf I am feeling rather confident for you. Keeping everything crossed! My boobs were sore this time in fact were positively tingly which was strange and felt sick.....!

Lib76 Probably way too early!! This time I got a negative when my AF was what I thought was 2 days late. Turns out I must have ov'd later as got my BFP 4 days after AF was normally due. So it's never over till it's over!! Good luck.

Lib76 · 18/04/2010 17:06

thanks mimi yeh don't really know why i tested so early but once i had bought the test i was like a kid with a new toy...just had to play with it!!

mumatron · 18/04/2010 19:25

womanly sorry for the bfn. all the best for next month.

lib i had a very definate bfn on a fr then the next day a faint but very much there bfp on a cheapy the next day. fr have never been that good for me.

good luck to anyone else testing soon.

LittleB · 18/04/2010 20:14

Hi everyone, great to see lots of positives on here. Sorry I haven't been on for ages, have just started a new job and things have been hectic.
Last night had aches and pains and was expecting AF by this morning, but no AF, so did a FR and got v faint BFP, but it was faint but definitely there, but I still have dull aches and expecting AF to arrive at any moment! (I'm actually on CD25 today, my stats have missed a day and last cycle was 25 days long, longest is 27 days). So I have my fingers tightly crossed but still not convinced I'm actually pg. I have a clear blue test to do tomorrow morning if AF hasn't arrived by then, and will be back here tomorrow evening!
I'd convinced myself that I wouldn't mind if AF arrived as would be due v. close to Christmas, esp as DD was a week early, and we're off on holiday in two weeks which would be a great time for some SWI, but I'm really hoping that I am now. everything crossed, be back soon .
