my husband and i have been ttc for 9 months now and have had a funny ol' time of it from getting my thyroid dose just right to 59 day cycles. last week my gp did a test to see how my hormones are and to see if i was producing eggs the results came back positive all round so im guessing that i must be having a (more usual) 28 day cycle. with that i did a hpt yesterday morning (day 31) and there is THE most faint line you ever did see. i had this with my first born and it drove me crazy i dont know if my head is playing tricks on me haha. im going to test mon when i will be a week late (on a 28 day cycle that is). anyone else out there with a faint line you're so desperate to see?

Posted yesterday about exact same thing! I got the faintest result, I could hardly see it. Tested again today with a clearblue test that said 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant', It said 'pregnant' Have been ttc since I mc last October, so really pleased, but also worried, fingers crossed it all goes OK.

I'd recommend getting the same hpt I did. If any help other posters told me impossible to get any (even really faint)line unless you are pregnant. Good luck!!!!

Yes I had one of those. He's one next week! Get a digital one, takes away all of that doubt. good luck!

i am now nearly 27 weeks pregnant with my 'faintest of lines' Give it a couple of days and get a digital test. Though sounds like you could be!

aw congrats hmmmsleep thats great news, those digital ones are so expensive but i suppose its worth it to get an actual result.

Yeah I had the faintest of lines, I tested with the digital ones that told me in no uncertain terms that I was pg. But congrats!!!

From personal experience and reading lots of these questions on here I would say a positive is a positive and Congratulations!

The way pregnancy tests work, even a faint line is a positive. Because they detect a hormone that is only present in pregnancy, even a faint line means a positive result.

Congratulations!
