Here's a question: This week I've been aware that I should be ovulating on or about the 18th and have been taking appropriate action . This is our first "proper" month. Now, this egg white thing - do you get in in the days leading up to ovulating, or as you actually ovulate? I've been checking and haven't found any until this morning when there was loads (sorry, far TMI )) Also, earlier on this morning when I got up to go to the loo, I had quite a sharp twinge in my lower right side - presumably that was ovulation? Does the twinge happen as it actually happens, or again is it a precursor to the event? Hope this isn't rambling and unclear - answers/advice on a postcard please.

Hi Ariesgirl

Def not TMI don't worry. Im am ttc myself at the moment and have done loads of reading up on ovulation trying to get the right dates, and have had the same egg white stuff and slight pain in side, from what I have read everywhere yes this is ovulation, have you looked at any ovulation calendars I found them a great help.

Good luck x
