HyCoSy Test

Hi Girls,

I have been booked in for a private scan next week and dont really know much about it. I have just started looking atresearch on the internet and now i am worried and a bit afraid!

Has anyone recently had this HyCoSy test done? Can i do anything to prepare for it? Lastly should we avoid having unprotected sex? (trying to get pregnant and every month counts!!!)

Hi ya, I had it done last year - some say it's uncomfortable but I was fine (my tubes are clear so maybe thats why it didn't hurt). Was slightly uncomfortable. Also felt slippery down there after. i went straigt into the loos & put a towel on. I was very nervous before i went in but wouldn't say it was a bad experience.

As I remember I had Mac D's after and spent the afternoon with my niece & nephew as my sister had taken me to the appointment. I did make sure I had the day off from work.
