Bleeding day after pregnancy test was positive!

I was due on Saturday but noting happened so did an early response test and it came up positive on Sunday. This morning I got my period, so not sure what the hell is going on....any ideas. Is this a very early mc, or was the test wrong?

It could just be an implantation bleed, very common occurance. Test again in a couple of days, if the pregnancy is ok it should be clearly positive, if it was a chemical pregnancy / very early miscarriage / or faulty test, then the test will be negaitve. I hope this helps
