Hi Everyone, you may remember back in April i posted a few messages from having negative tests - still here ttc - since my last message i have had a beautiful neice born which has made me feel even more broody!

Anyway have read somewhere that when ttc you should only have sex every other day rather than every day to try and give dh's little fella's the best chance.................anyone know anything about this?

Alos, DH is now even more desperate than i am - we find outrselves sitting at home deciding how we would decorate the nursery and which puchchair we would have etc - anyone find themselves doing this?

Hi Geniveve, if you look at the "Anyone else trying to get pregnant" thread then there's at least one person on there who's got pregnant by doing it every day. I personally go for the every other day approach but that's to give me a rest just as much as my dh! I guess everyone will have different opinions on this according to what's worked for them.

we used to do it twice a day on fertile days(using ovulation test) and always put your bum up on a pillow afterwards for about 15 mins. The practice nurse told me this and after ttc for over a year with dd with this advice I conceived ds in the first month of ttc.

We started to ttc late December and hit the jackpot this month after 6 months. To start with we were doing it every other day and then the last 2 months, every day from when my period stopped to when it started again - my dh was delighted!!! We used Persona too - I only used it for one month but it accurately pinpointed when ovulation was. I ovulated late so it was really good to have that info.
We also were starting to plan things before we had even got the positive test - know how you feel and the crushing disappointment every month when your period comes is awful. I am only 5 weeks so early days for me yet.....best of luck
Oh - the putting your bum under a pillow and lying in bed for at least 30 mins after doing it is good advice.
