Ovulation on day 11??

Hi,

My cycle length is usually around 32 days, and so I guess that I probably ovulate around day 18-ish. On day 10 of this cycle I noticed lots of EWCM and then on day 11 (yesterday) there was some pink tinged CM.

We had s.e.x on day 10 and plan to again tonight (romantically spontaneous as ever...) and I'm wondering whether I ovulated on day 10, although this seems strangely early for me. Can cycles change so dramatically from month to month? (I'm usually quite regular).

Anyone had experience of unusually early ovulation?

Hi,
Don't know how helpful I can be but I've had EWCM twice this month. The first was on day 12, 13 & 14 and now again 20, 21, 22, 23.
I'm wondering if I'm ovulting late or twice???

I know I'm a bit different as I taking clomid. I know you are supposed to ovulate around about the same time every month but also that the cycle can go out of sync due to stress etc.

Maybe you have ovulated early...

Thanks Fairygodmother, I suppose all I can do is carry on as normal this month and keep an eye out for any other signs of ovulation around my normal time.

I just like to know what's going on so I can work out dates etc for testing. I hope it was an early ovulation as we DTD at the right time but we'll carry on for the rest of month just in case it wasn't

We were not TTC (using standard days method) when I ovulated & conceived DS on day 11... so get going NOW! good luck

Ooh thanks Bounty, well we 'got going' once I spotted the EWCM so fingers crossed that a)I actually ovulated then, and b)a little swimmer met its target...Will have to wait and see

Hi Howhardcanitbe, just to say I usually ov on CD17 and thereabouts, and if I get any EWCM it's usually the day before - but this month I had loads (well, loads for me!) on CD11 too. No idea what's going on there. I chart temps and my temp is still low so I don't think it's ovulation - maybe just body getting going a few days early? Anyway there can't be any harm in getting going - from what I've read, EWCM is the thing to look out for...

Thanks Pidgin - it was really the tiny tiniest bit of spotting that I got on day 11 that made me wonder if I was ovulating as I've never had any mid-cycle bleeding before and had read that it can be a sign of ovulation. Anyway, my usual ovulation time would be next weekend so we're carrying on with the action until after then to cover all the bases!
