TTC after Mirena Coil

Hello, I'm new here and was hoping someone might be able to offer me some advice. I have just come off the Mirena coil to TTC no 2. I had coil taken out on Jan 18th, had few days bleeding, nothing since. I've been having pg-like symptoms for about ten days now - nausea, sore breasts, shattered, odd smells, general mood swings, but seems to be far too early to experience them - literally within a couple of days of having sex.

I've heard Mirena withdrawal can cause pg-like symptoms. I have no idea when my period is due or how early I can take a test.

Has anyone else had experience of TTC after Mirena? Did you have any odd side effects after coming off it? How long should I wait to take test? I know I'll find out one way or the other soon, but this is driving me crazy!

I had my mirena out on the 6th January and like you had a small amount of bleeding soon after. I also felt rubbish for a week or so after which I think might just have been my system sorting itself out. In the end I did a test which was neg and then had a period just after and felt much better!
I don't know how long you had yours in for but I had mine for 4 years so can't realy remember what having a period or ovulating is meant to feel like which means I'm probably mistaking perfectly normal things for crazyness anyway!
