Hello, Im new to Mumsnet and not too sure how to go about "chatting". Have had a look through the various message threads and not too sure if there is already a topic live on this subject so apologies if Im repeating stuff.
My husband (age 40 end March) and I (age 43) have twin boys conceived via IVF (due to male factor infertility) who will be 4 years old at the end of May. Since the boys were born we have had 2 further attempts at IVF but unfortunately both attempts failed. Our last failed attempt was last April and since then although I have tried to come to terms with the likely fact that we will not have anymore children I am struggling to accept this and feeling very lonely as my husband not prepared to go through IVF and obviously time is not on my side since I will be 44 years old later this year.
Is there anyone out there who is in a similar situation/considering donor IVF and the like. Do you know any fertility clinics in the UK who would treat us considering our respective ages and the fertility problems we have?
Looking forward to chatting.

Hi alfiemac and welcome

Have a look at the assisted conception thread and also the 40+ one. Everyone's really friendly, i'm sure you'll find lots of the right info.

Best of luck!
