Any one trying to avoid a bfp on certain months

I really need to get my BFP this month or will have to avoid it the next 2 months due to several birthdays in those months and xmas. I wouldn't mind January or Feb or even March or April. Would really like it to be a winter baby so they would be the oldest in the school year rather than the youngest. Any one trying for a particular month? and why.

I didn't avoid any months, as I was so desperate to conceive both of mine.

I used to think like you OP but now I don't care. 4 years TTC so I'm not bothered anymore. You can't plan your pregnancies round going out and having a good time (well you can if you like obviously.

I'm 40 this year and I couldn't give a stuff if I'm pregnant on my birthday infact I'd love it! There's always next year for a party!

I thought like that to start with - 3 MC's later, I just want to have a successful pregnancy. I was in line for a spring baby once - that to me would have been perfect but a baby would be much loved and appreciated whenever he / she chooses to turn up. I've just turned 40, so don't have the luxury of time.

Before I started TTC I always thought "must avoid an august baby".

When is my due date? 24 August.....

I don't really think it matters. I would have vaguely tried to avoid a Jan or Feb birthday out here as it regularly gets up to 40+ degrees and I don't think that would be fun, but equally, if it had happened that way I would have just coped I suppose.

When we decided to TTC DS it was May and I really hoped it would happen quickly so

a. I'd be pregnant over winter
b. The baby wouldn't be youngest in school year and
c. it avoided all other birthdays, Xmas etc.

Luckily I fell pregnant immediately. The problem when it comes time for the next one is managing all the above, and trying to get it far away from DS' birthday! I can't have 3, the logistics would just be too complicated!!

I think it also depends on your age. I'm 37 and probably not ovulating every month. It wouldn't be very sensible to decrease my chances even more but vetoing months.
