Feeling lonely

Hi there, i am kind of new here. i have been reading most threads but never managed to reply or even start one.

I am TTC no2. i have a lovely DS. he is 2 he was conceived on clomid round 9. it took me three years to conceive first time around. I had a miscariage last april after 9 round of clomid again. Doc not giving me anymore because i had so much in the last two years.But he is now refering me for IVF. It could take months before i get an appointment.

I am desperate for a second child. None of my friends or family have gone through this and most of them are having no3+4.
For some strange reasons I just feel so lonely tonight i suppose more than usual.

Sorry you are having such a tough time, it's so hard when having babies isn't easy. I had some very dark moment over the 8 years it took me to complete my little family of 2 DCs.

Hello, I just wanted to say hi also. I have been trying for DC2 for sometime now and recently had a mc. Everyone either has had or is pregnant with at least DC2 around me and I am finding it hard too. I can see the gap between my DD and any sibling getting so large it is really depressing. Anyway, you didn't come on to be depressed by me , but wanted to say don't feel lonely. xx

When we went through the IVF thing we found loads of support and information at www.fertilityfriends.co.uk. I really recommend it as a place to talk to people who know what you are going through.

Just a little hello from me too. We are trying to conceive our first and sometimes (on rare occasions) it can feel lonely, I guess after a period of seeing friends and family with children or hearing of someone else you know is going to have a baby takes its toll. There is always support out there though and remember that you are not alone. The more you are able to chat about it on forums like this the less you will lonely as it just reinforces that you are not alone. I think that sometimes we think the way we sometimes feel may be silly or irrelevant but there are others out there feeling the same.

Lonliness is horrid and so despairing. I sometimes feel lonely even when surrounded by people because none of them have any idea what you are going through. Much love to you. Xx
