So, can we talk about implantation bleeding please?

Has anyone had implantation bleeding before and, if so, what was it like and when did it happen?

I haven't had implantation bleeding in any of my pregnancies before (one DS and 2 mcs).

Today is day 18 of my cycle and had a rust-coloured discharge a couple of times today. Could this be implantation bleeding or am I just being too hopeful.

If it wasn't what else could it have been?

Seems to have stopped now.

I had implantation bleeding with my pregnancy, having never heard of it at the time and it looked pretty much like you described. I remember thinking "Odd, my period isn't due now.." And then it stopped. It was just a couple of spots on the same day really, like you get at the end of your period.

Thanks Venus, did you have any mild cramps with it? I have had a crampy feeling but very mild.

Also have a terrible cold so not exactly sure what is what at the moment!

I did with DD but not with my recent mc. Mine came around the time of my period, though I think I ovulate late. It was spotting for a couple of days and I remember thinking how odd it was so light. I also had terrible back pain, which I had both pregnancies, and took some quite strong painkillers . I tested a week later and got a BFP. So you never know - good luck!

I too would love to know more about this subject. I am now 6 days late for AF, have tested twice both BFNs (most recently this morning)

But now am thinking back to a few weeks ago when I got a small amount of pale pink stuff- just like you Chipper thought "Huh this is a bit early" and then it went away.

I think that the not waiting is the most painful thing. I would just love it if my big toes were to change colour once I had conceived- you know- a REALLY obvious sign.

Big toes changing colour would be great! I can't believe I have to wait another 10 days before AF is due!

I had implantation bleeding with my ds, it lasted around 4 days. I knew it wasn't like a normal period though as it wasn't real blood which was why I did a test
