How reliable are ovulation strips?

Just wondering - negative after negative... Maybe I am starting to worry about this to soon!

Also, do you keep bd-ing after ovulation 'just in case' or is is not really worth it? (I'm not talking about going celibate after! But don't want to 'perform' when we could be doing it for fun IYSWIM!)

Thanks in advance!

How long have you been ttc?. If it has been over 12 months now a visit to the GP would be in order.

Are your periods regular or irregular in nature - if they are irregular in nature then the OPK's are certainly NOT worth the time, money and effort. These are not without problems at the best of times and can give false readings.

Would suggest you stop focussing on "ovulation time" and make love when you both feel like it. Take the pressure of yourselves (these kits I feel can also add to the general stress levels).

General consensus too seems to be 2 or 3 times a week throughout the cycle. Do not go down the route of timing of intercourse as this can do your relationship a great deal of harm.

Thanks. We haven't been trying long, but I only stopped bf-ing in the after Christmnas, so I am wondering if that could have affect ov. My periods are regular-ish 30 days (happens same time each calendars month)

Wondering whether you can have false positive/ negatives

Thanks
