Should I do the ovulation monitoring thing?

ds is 5, he wasn't planned, it was just a one-off. Now I'm 35 and we're trying for another, should I go with the flow and just do the cervical mucus thing or splash out on ov monitoring stuff?

(sorry if this doesn't format right, when I try to create conversations something goes wrong in the box!!)

I was wondering the same thing as we are thinking about TTC#2.
My cycle which had previously been a regular 28 days seems to have gone a bit haywire, not been paying enough attention to know quite what's going on yet.

I read this thread with interest and have decided not to go down the kit route for now.

Think I'll just keep a note of cycle dates for now and up the shagging a bit

Good luck

Hey there - I had this problem when TTC DS. I used the clearblue ovulation kits (many of them!). They helped me to not get too obsessive about when to pg test. I found out that I always got my period 14 days after ovulation, but ovulation could move about lots.

Hope that might help you ladies decide what to do - and best of luck!
