Missed minipill + late period + neg preg test - Help?!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's ever missed a minipill, is three days overdue for a usually punctual period and had two neg home preg tests (both on the day my period was due)... I'm still not feeling at all pre-menstrual.

Anyone have an educated/experience-related clue as to whether or not I might be pregnant? How long do I wait before I test again? (I'm sure I'll get my period the second this posts...)

well... i conceived whilst on the pill. it is very definitely possible to have negative tests as you only tested on the day your period was due.
try again in a couple of days...

I'm also on mini pill and haven't had a period for about 10 weeks! I think one of the side effects of the mini pill is irregular periods, how long have you been on the mini pill?

Yes, I prob should retest, but then I think well, it'll come... or not....

I was on mini-pill (w no period) for a year while breastfeeding. As I slowed down the bf'ing, I got a few periods (pretty regular), then switched to combined (after bf) for 3 months... then back to mini for last 6 months (I think). Have had a period every month like clockwork... till now.

Such a waiting game. It's maddening.

I did a test about 4 weeks ago which was negative but they're too expensive to keep buying so I just keep waiting!!!

or you could do what someone else rec on here which i did buy tests off ebay, i got three for 79p each and they arrived the next day!!!

two gave me neg results and i am hanging onto the third one until tomorrow to see as i have just had a period but very light and i feel sicky so we'll see.

if you read other peoples experiences on here on when and how they found out they were pregnant some people say they tested neg until 6 weeks pregnant - mad!!!

I had v bad nausea start around week 6 w DD, so should know in the next two weeks.

crikey- this will set me off worrying about my dd again! still not convinced she's not pg.

ought to add i was on pill and concieved both my dks cos i foolishly forgot a pill! wouldnt be without them but it was a shock at the time. x

but if am then i am only 4 weeks pregnant but I have felt sick since last week, i also have a headache today and I have just finished a short light period.

you can have totally diff symptoms with each baby, my friend feel preg the second time and she already had a son and her monrning sickness first time round was relatively mild, with the 2nd pregnancy - a whole different story, it was so bad she was convinces that because her pregnancy was so different that she was having a girl but she had a lovely healthy son. so every pregnancy and birth is always different.

i hope with my second one the sickness is less.
