Could I be pregnant?

I usually have a 31 day cycle. My dh and I did a bit of BD on day 14 which would not be at ovulation time with a 31 day cycle but those little sperm can live a heck of a long time. So I am due my AF on 23/4 Jan. I had a metallic taste about a week ago and recently a bit of increased CM. Do you think I might be pregnant? I really hope so. This would be No 3 and I'd be delighted. Obviously I can't test for another week but I'm killing myself wondering... x

Ooh ILoveGH, I'm glad you think there might be a chance too. The only thing that makes me doubtful is that I wasn't aware I was ovulating this time. ie usually I have lots of egg-white consistency CM (sorry if TMI) and this time I didn't really notice any. So there is a chance it was an anovulatory cycle (have heard of such things but no idea if I've ever actually had one). Anyway, good luck to us both. I presume poas is something to do with taking a test? When are you planning on doing yours?

Yes I'd just worked out the poas thing! Me too Friday 24th. But it's just so tempting to do it early isn't it?! I'm popping some in my shopping trolley today 'just in case'. I am actually away in South Africa at the moment which makes it all more strange. Not sure why it just does. I found out I was pg with my dd out here two years ago so I'm hoping the same luck will be with me...

I have realised I got my dates wrong. We in fact did BD on day 12 which doesn't rule things out but makes it less likely. I caved yesterday and did a test which was just ridiculous - and obviously BFN. But I'd bought them in anticipation of the weekend and you just can't help it even though AF isn't due for days etc. Am now determined to wait until it's a day past the earliest AF is likely to come - although I say 31 days it can be anything from 30-34. Would love a cycle you could set your watch by! Anyway, feeling like an idiot for testing yesterday but am sure I'm not the first to have done it...
